THE HISTORY OF OUR HOTEL
Opened in 1887
The Historic Huis ter Duin has been offering a beautiful view of the Dutch coast from the highest dune in Noordwijk for over 130 years. Many prominent guests, from members of the Royal family to world leaders, have stayed at the hotel, which has a rich history.
Our story
Historic Enjoyment
The Historic Hotel has a rich history. It is a place where many guests have stayed and it is also the building that survived the fire of 1990. Given the Historical character of the building and the difference in appearance of the rooms between the Historic Hotel and Grand Hotel Huis ter Duin we have chosen to not allocate the Historic Hotel with any star classification. The service in the Historic Hotel is of course a 5 star standard as you can expect from us.
